Comments on the production information

  • PB (RESIDUE CONCENTRATE) CONSISTS OF LEUCOXENE, ALTERED ILMENITE, AND RUTILE. PD (ZIRCON CONCENTRATE) IS PORTION OF TOTAL CONCENTRATE PRODUCED AT THE TRAIL RIDGE OPERATION (012-019-0001) DRY MILL (152 MT) THAT IS ATTRIBUTED TO THE HIGHLAND OPERATION. (HI-ZIRCON DRY MILL TAILINGS FROM HIGHLAND ARE PROCESSED IN A ZIRCON CIRCUIT AT THE TRAIL RIDGE OPERATION.)

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • DU PONT HAS NOW ACQUIRED ADJACENT PROPERTY PREVIOUSLY NOT INCLUDED IN OUR EVALUATION. THEY ACQUIRED IT FROM NL INDUSTRIES. ADIT UPDATE, JAN. 1993: BASED ON INFORMATION FROM THE PLANT MANAGER, RESERVES WERE ESTIMATED BASED ON CAPACITY AND MINE LIFE. THE GRADE (TIO2) IS AN AVERAGE FOR ALL THE DUPONT MINES IN THE AREA. THE RESERVES ARE SHOWN ALSO IN Q-MATRIX 3, COL 1. THIS PROPERTY IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO ACCOMADATE MINE PLANNING OF THE MAXVILLE TRACT, BUT WILL RESUME OPERATIONS EVENTUALLY.
