  • THE AMOUNT GIVEN AS INFERRED ORE IS FOR THE ADAMS HILL AREA. NOT JUST THE TL SHAFT. THE ORE CONTAINS AS AND CL, MAKING SMELTING DIFFICULT. THIS COMBINED WITH METAL VALUES CAUSED CLOSURE OF THE MINE IN 1959.
