Deposit ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REPORTED COSTS ARE EXPRESSED IN TERMS OF CANADIAN DOLLARS. AS OF JUNE 30, 1974 BOLIDEN HAS INVESTED $5.6 MILLION IN THE GREAT LAKES NICKEL PROPERTY. A FEASIBILITY STUDY COMPLETED IN 1973 ESTIMATED A CAPITAL COST OF $38 MILLION TO BRING THE GREAT LAKES NICKEL PROPERTY TO PRODUCTION AT 4665 MT/DAY. PREPARATION OF PLANT SITE, ACCESS ROAD AND OTHER PRELIMINARY WORK BEGAN IN DEC. 1973 BUT WAS SUSPENDED IN OCT. 1974. PROPERTY IS STILL ON STANDBY. THIS PROPERTY EVALUATION WAS DONE DURING 1981 BY INTERMOUNTAIN FIELD OPERATIONS CENTER, DENVER, COLORADO, USING DATA COMPILED BY GOLDER ASSOCIATES, INC., 1658 COLE BOULEVARD, SUITE 180, GOLDEN, COLORADO 80401, UNDER CONTRACT J0295059 WITH THE BUREAU OF MINES.
