  • THE POCOS DE CALDAS BAUXITE DEPOSITS ARE LOCATED WITHIN AN ALKALINE MASS, CALLED THE POCOS DE CALDAS PLATEAU WHICH IS ROUGHLY CIRCULAR IN SHAPE. BAUXITE OCCURRENCES ARE FOUND MAINLY ON THE RIM AND INTERNAL OF THE PLATEAU. THE BAUXITE IS FROMED BY THE WEATHERING OF ALKALINE IGNEOUS ROCKS. THIS DATA COULD NOT BE CHECK, THE GOLDER DEPOSIT PROFILE REPORT WAS MISSING FROM THE PEFR FILE. THE ONLY CORRECTION MADE WAS TO CHANGE "MAT" "0" TO "MAT" "1", THEREFORE THE LDM ALSO CHANGED.
  • THE GENERAL FOLIATION STRIKES NW-SE, DIPPING TO THE SE. DIP RANGES FROM 28 DEGREES IN THE RIM DEPOSITS TO FLAT IN THE INTERNAL PLATEAU. DEPTH OF MINERALIZATION VARIES WITH DEPOSIT; MINIMUM IS 2 METERS. THICKNESS OF DEPOSITS VARY FROM 6-2 METERS.
