Deposit PROPERTY SHUT DOWN IN 1984, WHEN REYNOLDS CEASED MINING IN JAMAICA. MINING CONCESSION NOW CONTROLLED BY BATCO. LOOKING FOR NEW OWNER. AS OF OCTOBER 1992, PLANS CALL FOR THE RESTART OF THE MINE SOMETIME IN 1993 TO FEED A UKRAINIAN REFINERY. $50M HAS BEEN APPROVED TO RENOVATE FACILITIES BY THE UKRAINIANS.
