Deposit ZHUOSIJIA LITHIUM DEPOSIT IS LOCATED IN CHEANLING COUNTY, GANGZE TIBETIAN AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT, AND 290 KM WEST OF CHENGDU. THERE IS A MAIN ROAD FROM CHENGDU TO THE COUNTY WHICH IS CONNECTED WITH A MINE ROAD TO THE DEPOSIT FOR 50 KM. THE LITHIUM ORE BODIES HOST IN QUARTZ VEINS WHICH INTRUDE IN SERICITE-SLATE OF TRIASSIC PERIOD. THE PRINCIPAL INDUSTRIAL MINERALS ARE SPODUMENE AND BERYL WHICH ARE ASSOCIATED WITH NB-TA-BEARING MINERALS. IT IS ESTIMATED THE RESERVE OF THE DEPOSIT IS 13,400 T LI2O WITH ORE GRADE OF LI2O 0.84-1.5%. THE SPODUMENE AND BERYL MINERALS ARE FORMED AS BIG CRYSTALS AND THEY ARE EASY TO BE BENEFICIATED MANUALLY. THE DEPOSIT CAN BE MINED BY OPEN PIT, BUT IT HAS NOT BEEN MINED YET IN BIG SCALE. SOME FARMERS ARE MINING THERE IRREGULARLY AND THE MINED ORE ARE SOLD TO THE BUSINESSMEN AFTER BENEFICIATION. PROPERTY ACCESS: CHENGDU-KAONDING MAIN ROAD
