Deposit THE DALIANGZE ZN(PB) DEPOSIT IS LOCATED IN HUIDUNG COUNTY, LIANSHAN YI AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT. IT IS 217 KM FROM TOYIUNLONG RAILWAY STATION ON THE XICHANG-HUIDUNG MAIN ROAD. ACCESS IS BY THE CHENGDU-XICHANG MAIN ROAD. IT IS 467 KM SW OF CHENGDU. THE DEPOSIT WAS FIRST MINED IN 1973 BY OPEN PIT. AT THE SAME TIME, THE DALIANGZE BENEFICIATION PLANT WAS CONSTRUCTED. MINING AND ORE DRESSING CAPACITY WERE BOTH 300 MT/DAY. BY THE END OF 1990, BOTH CAPACITIES REACHED 600-900 MT/DAY. PLANS CALL FOR CAPACITY EXPANSION TO 1,800 MT/DAY BY THE YEAR 2000.
