Comments on the production information

  • LINE 012 IS THE ASSUMED ANNUAL PRODUCTION AT 300 METER DEPTH FOR AVAIL. STUDY 1/89. TO 600 METER DEPTH WOULD LAST TO 2061 AT 500,000 MT ORE/ YEAR.
  • THE MILL PRODUCES 3 PRODUCTS: 25% OF THE OUTPUT IS LUMP ORE (+15 MM.) AT 41% CR2O3, 75% OF THE OUTPUT AS CHEMICAL GRADE AND FOUNDRY GRADE CONCENTRATES (SANDS) AT ABOUT 46% CR2O3. IT IS NOT KNOWN HOW MUCH OF THE OUTPUT IS FOUNDRY GRADE (HIGH MGO CONTENT). ASSUMPTION FOR THIS STUDY IS THAT ALL OF THE CONCENTRATE OUTPUT IS UTILIZED FOR FERRO- CHROME PRODUCTION .
  • PERCENT RECOVERY IS PER INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT. THE TOTAL RECOVERY ADDS UP TO 88.1. THE RUN OF MINE ORE AT MONTROSE IS 38 % CR2O3.
