Deposit THE YANGCHULING MINE IS A PORPHYRY TYPE DEPOSIT ASSOCIATED WITH LATE STAGES OF MULTIPHASE GRANITIC INTRUSIONS. AGE OF MINERALIZATION IS CRETACEOUS. ORE OCCURS AS DISSEMINATED GRAINS OF SCHEELITE AND MOLYBDENITE IN ALTERED HOST ROCK. OREBODIES ARE IRREGULAR ZONES, TENS TO HUNDREDS OF METERS IN ACROSS. THE MAJOR GANGUE MINERAL IS QUARTZ.
