PRODUCTION PRIOR TO 1936: 20,894 02. OF GOLD, 2,322 OZ. OF SILVER (USBMAFOC FILES). BEDROCK IS SCHIST WITH A FEW INTERSTRATIFIED LIMESTONE BEDS. THE GRAVEL IS SCHIST AND QUARTZ WITH SOME ORANITE BOULDERS. SCHEELITE AND HEMATITE OCCUR WITH THE GOLD. CLAIMS PATENTED UNDER M.S. 1844 (PAT. NO. 1027691). USGS CRIB A002426
