SEVERAL 100 TONS OF ORE MINED 1881-1890. 41 TONS SHIPPED IN 1889 CONTAINED 75% LEAD AND 142 OZ/TON. 60 M VERTICAL SHAFT, 2 WORKING LEVELS AND 152 METER ADIT (RI 6018,P.7). MARBLE FORMS HIGHLY FRACTURED GROUNDMASS ON WESTERN LIMB OF ANTICLINE IN ALTERNATING THICK BANDS WITH SCHIST BEDS WITH MANY SMALL FOLDS, FAULTS AND JOINTS. ORE COMPOSED OF GELENA AND STIBNITE WAS EMPLACED (RI 6018,P.12-14). |
