Comments on the geologic information

  • GENERAL SIZE OF ORE BODY IS SMALL. OTHER TYPES OF ALTERATION ARE CHLORITIZATION, SERITIZATION CLOSE TO WALL ROCK, AND OXIDATION. STRIKE AND DIP OF MINERALIZED ZONE BASED ON MAIN VEIN. SULFIDES AND SULFOSALTS HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY LEACHED FROM THE VEIN. ORIGINAL ORE MINERALS WERE ELECTRUM AND ARGENTITE. ZPHINZ ZONE WAS DISCOVERED AS A CROSS STRUCTURE OF MAIN VEIN IN ABOUT 1982. LARGE RESERVES OF LOW-GRADE ORE REPORTED AS EXTENSIONS OF MAIN VEIN. RECENT DISCOVERY OF ORE IN THE ZPHINZ ZONE COULD ALTER ORIGINAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS.
  • YELLOW-GRAY CLORIDE MINERALS ARE ALSO PRESENT.
  • IN LITHOLOGY UNSPECIFIED INTRUSIVE IS CALCITE QUARTZ VEIN.
