Deposit ALSO IN SEC 24 A NUMBER OF SHALLOW PITS AND TWO SHORT ADITS LESS THAN 100 FEET LONG PARTLY EXPLORE A ZONE IN THE BASAL HORIZON OF THE STILLWATER COMPLEX. THE ZONE,12 TO 30 FEET WIDE, CONTAINS PYRITE, PYRRHOTITE, CHALCOPYRITE AND PROBABLY SMALL AMOUNTS OF PENTLANDIITE ENCLOSED IN HORNFELS. A SAMPLE OF MASSIVE SULFIDES SELECTED FROM ONE OF THE ADIT DUMPS ASSAYED AS FOLLOWS: GOLD TRACE SILVER TRACE IRON 23.1 PERCENT NICKEL 0.3 PERCENT COPPER 0.3 PERCENT COBALT 0.06 PERCENT PRIOR TO 1950 NO ORES HAD BEEN PRODUCED, ALTHOUGH THE PROPERTY HAS BEEN SPORADICALLY PROSPECTED FOR MANY YEAR
