Deposit 1975 - AREA CHROMITE DEPOSITS SUGGESTED FOR CHEMICAL USES. DURING WW I THE NATIONAL MINERALS CO FOUND A DEPOSIT 8 FT BY LONG AND 12 TO 18 INCHES WIDE OF CHROMITE THAT ANALYZED 42%. THE COMPANY MINED THIS ORE AND SHIPPED APPROX 12 TONS OF ORE. THE 42% CR2O3 FIGURE ABOVE IS THE ONLY ANALYSIS OF ORE GIVEN AND THERE IS NO CR FE RATIO GIVEN. ADDITIONAL MINERALS ASSOCIATED WITH THE CHROMITE INCLUDE WILLIAMSITE, PICROLITE, AMB ASBESTOS AND KAMMERITE. CURRENT NAMES OF OWNER OPERATOR UNDETERMINED
