Deposit TOTAL OF 118 CLAIMS HELD BY INTERCONTINENTAL. RESOURCE GIVEN IN Q-MATRIX 1 IS TONNAGE RESULTS FROM 1975-1976 EVALUATION OF ONLY 9 CLAIMS. EXPLORATION CONSISTED OF TEST PITS & TRENCHES PLUS REHABILITATION OF OLD ADITS. INDICATIONS ARE THAT THE CANDELARIA MATERIAL MAY BE ALL REFRACTORY ORE (STOCKPILES RESULTING FROM EXPLORATION WERE SAID TO BE REFRACTORY GRADE). HOWEVER, THE PHILIPPINE BUREAU OF MINES OFFICIALLY LISTS THE RESOURCE AS METALLURGICAL GRADE. THE ANALYSIS HAS TREATED THE MATERIAL AS SUITABLE FOR FERROCHROME PRODUCTION.
