Comments on the reserve resource information

  • OTHER OWNERS: BANQUE DE PARIS ET DES PAYS BAS, & DONG-TRIEU 45%. NAME CHANGED FOR UPDATE STUDY TO HAVE SEQ.NO. REPRESENT THE ENTIRE TIEBAGHI MASSIF DISTRICT. FOR ANALYSIS: 140,000 MTPY ROM FOR: 47,000 MTPY LUMP AT 50 % CR2O3(CHROMITE MET), 25,700 MTPY CONCS.AT 53.5 % CR2O3 (CHROMITE MET) AND 12,300 MTPY CONCS.AT 55.5 % CR2O3 (CHROMITE REFRACTORY).
  • M1C3=M9C4. ESTIMATED RESOURCE IN Q-MAT 1 IS BASED ON A MINIMUM OF 20 OF 20 YEARS OF CRUDE ORE PRODUCTION WHICH IS BASED UPON MINIMUMS REQUIRED BY LAW FOR A MINING-PRODUCTION LEASE IN NEW CALEDONIA. ASSUMING 2 PIPES WITH 160 AND 300 METER DEPTHS REMAINING, THE TONNAGE LEFT IS PROBABLY GREATER THAN THE ESTIMATE IN Q-MAT 1.
  • 1/89 INSITU DEMO.TONNAGE = 0 (ONLY CAME UP WITH ABOUT 3 YRS. OF OF POTENTIAL PROD.IN 1986 ANALYSIS; CO.SAYS ORE DEPL.IN 1990).

Deposit PAST PRODUCTION AT TIEBAGHI CAME FROM TWO PIPELIKE OREBODIES -THE TIEBAGHI PIPE AND THE FANTOUCHE PIPE. BOTH PIPES HAD EARLY ON BEEN PROVEN TO DEPTHS OF 400 METERS, MINING HALTED AT DEPTHS OF 240 METERS AND 100 METERS RESPECTIVELY. G-SET IS INTENDED TO DESCRIBE AVERAGE OF THE TWO PIPES.
