Deposit INCLUDED IN THE LABOR FORCE OF 9,500 ARE 71 SENIOR ENGINEERS, 254 ENGINEERS, AND 60 SENIOR TECHNICANS. DEXING IS LOCATED AT THE FOOT OF THE HUAIYU MTS. IN AN AREA OF RUGGED TERRAIN ROUGHLY MID-WAY BETWEEN THE COASTAL CITIES OF GUANGZHOU AND SHANGHAI. EXPLORATION IN THE MINE AREA WAS CARRIED OUT IN TWO PHASES WITH 309 BOREHOLES DRILLED, AMOUNTING TO 114,000 M TOTAL. THE DRILLING GRID VARIED FROM 100M X 50M TO 200M X 200M.
