MUCH AREA AND MANY INDIVIDUAL DEPOSITS ARE INVOLVED IN REPORTING ON"WESTERN MALI"BAUXITES. DE KUN MENTIONS 3 AREAS: SANGALEN AND FANTOFA IN SATADOUGOU COUNTRY FROM FELLO-KEREWAN PLATEAU AND TEMBENE TO THE SENEGAL BORDER, KOULOUBA( NEAR BAMAKO) AND MPEBOUGOU IN SEGOU DISTRICT. (FURTHER TO THE EAST). CO-ORDINATES ARE OF SATADOUGUE-TINTIBA, 370 KM WEST OF BAMAKO.
