Deposit MSHA MID 5000493 USGS CRIB A001062 USGS CRIB A001166. FIRST HEAP LEACH OPERATION IN ALASKA. BEGAN PROD. IN 1988. LA TEKO RESOURCES IS OWNER/OPERATOR. LOCATED NEAR FAIRBANKS. THE PROJECT IS LOCATED 10 MILES NW OF FAIRBANKS. THE CURRENT RESOURCE IS 2,400,000 OZ AU W/822,000 OZ AU RESERVE (742,00 PROVEN+ 80,000 PROBABLE)-(8-97). 8-97: THE COMPANY PLANS TO CONTINUE DRILLING INTO 1998 AS IT COMPLETES ITS FEASIBILITY WORK AND PRODUCTION PERMITTING. A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF THE AU IN THE ORE IS COARSE AU. EXTREMELY HIGH-GRADE GOLD ASSAYS HAVE BEEN REPORTED.
