Deposit EXPLORATION WORK DONE FROM 1951 TO 1953 UNDER THE DEFENSE M EXPLORATION ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM FAILED TO DEVELOP ECONOMI QUANTITIES OF URANIUM IN THE WOODVEIN. THE CONCLUSIONS DRAWN THAT URANIUM ABUNDANCE DECREASES WITH DEPTH, AND, AS THE UPPER OF THE WOOD VEIN HAVE BEEN EXPLORED, PROBABLY THERE IS LITTLE LIKELYHOOD OF SUBSTANTIAL NEW PRODUCTION. GOLD AND SILVER ARE CARRIED BY PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, AND SPHALERITE
