TO THE PETERSON MINE WAS JUST BEING DEVELOPED IN 1950, BUT THE (LISTED ON RECORDS 011-012) WHICH COMPRISE IT HAD AN AGREGAT PRODUCTION OF 30,821,262 TONS OF SOFT, REDDISH BROWN, BESSEM NON-BESSEMER ORE FROM 1884-1941. SEE INDIVIDUAL MINE ENTRIES PURITAN MINING CO. EXPLORED THE PROPERTY FROM 1947-1951 AND 3,900 FOOT SHAFT IN SEPT., 1951. NO FURTHER INFORMATION AVAI
