  • AREA CONSISTS OF 5 ADITS (TOTALING 1, 397 FT) & 13 PITS & TRENCHES NUMEROUS PUBLICATIONS SINCE 1914 HAVE PLACED THE WORKINGS AT ABOUT 9,000 FT TO 10,000 FT ELEV ALONG THE CREST OF THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE, & THE MINERAL SURVEY NOTES OF 1902 ALSO SHOW THE CLAIMS TO BE ALONG THE CREST, HOWEVER, THE PATENTED CLAIM BOUNDARIES SHOWN ON CURRENT BLM RECORDS & FOREST SERVICE MAPS ARE PLACED 800 TO 1,200 FT BELOW THE CREST, PROBABLY IN ERROR
