| Deposit | THE VARIOUS MINES OF THE MT.OLIVE DISTRICT WERE MINED AT DIF TIMES FROM BEFORE THE REVOLUTION TO 1908. THE TOTAL PRODUCTI ALL THE MINES IN THIS DISTRICT IS ESTIMATED TO BE ABOUT 1000 OF MAGNETITE ORE. FROM 1941 TO 1943 SEVERAL MINING COMPANIES DIAMOND DRILLING TO EXPLORE THIS AREA. RESULTS DISCLOSED LIT PROSPECT OF OPERATING A LARGE OPEN PIT. NO ESTIMATE OF RESER AVAILABLE, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THERE ARE ORE BODIES OF M SIZE HERE. THERE ARE 2 BELTS OF MAGNETIC ATTRACTION. BOTH TREND NE-SW. ARE ROUGHLY 1 MILE APART. THE LOCATION ON REC.030 IS FOR THE SALMON MINE, WHICH ROUGHL DIVIDES THE NORTHERNMOST BELT OF MAGNETIC ATTRACTION. |
