Comments on the geologic information

  • THE FLAGSTAFF MT DEPOSIT IS LOCATED IN THE LOWER PORTION OF THE BLACK SHALE BELT, IN A BLACK PYRITIC LIMESTONE. THE BARITE BEDS HAVE A GRADATIONAL CONTACT WITH THE LIMESTONE TO THE S.E., BUT ON THE N.W. THEY ARE IN FAULT CONTACT WITH ARGILLITE. THE BARITE BEDS ARE WHITE TO CREAM WHITE TO DARK GRAY AND CO-EXTENSIVE WITH THE ENCLOSING SEDIMENTS. THE BARITE IS THINNLY LAMINATED AND FINE GRAINED BARITE IS THE ONLY ORE MINERAL.

Comments on the ownership information

  • C.E. MINERALS N.E. WASH OPERATIONS ARE COMPOSED OF THE FLAGSTAFF MT DEPOSIT(NOW BEING MINED), BRUCE CREEK DEPOSIT (WILL BE MINED AFTER FLAGSTAFF MT IS MINED OUT), AND THE LEADPOINT MILL FLAGSTAFF MT: N485353 W1175122, SEC 9 T39N R39E BRUCE CREEK: N484430 W1175508, SEC 5 T37N R39E LEADPOINT MILL (0530659012):N485500 W1173525, SEC2 T39N R41E
  • C.E. MINERALS IS A SMALL PART OF THE LARGE COMBUSTION ENGINEERING COMPANY. LEADPOINT MILL (0530659012) IS ON PRIVATE GROUND OWNED BY C.E. MINERALS. THE BRUCE CREEK DEPOSIT IS ON PRIVATE GROUND OWNED BY MESSRS POWERS AND WAINWRIGHT OF STEVENS CO. THE FLAFSTAFF MT DEPOSIT IS LOCATED ON BLM LAND, THE CLAIMS ARE CONTROLLED BY THE SELLS FAMILY OF NORTHPORT AND LEASED TO C.E. MINERALS.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • MATRIX 1 DEALS WITH FLAGSTAFF MT ORE. THIS ORE HAS AN AVERAGE SPECIFIC GRAVITY OF 3.6(INCLUDING ANY DILUTION). THE S.G. OF PURE BARITE IS 4.5. THE S.G. OF PURE WASTE IS 2.75. 3.6 ROCK IS EQUAL TO A MIXTURE OF 60.7 PERCENT PURE BARITE AND 39.3 PERCENT PURE WASTE. MATRIX 2 DEALS WITH BRUCE CREEK ORE. THIS ORE HAS AN AVERAGE SPECIFIC GRAVITY OF 3.4 (INCLUDING ANY DILUTION) 3.4 ROCK IS EQUAL TO A MIXTURE OF 49 PERCENT PURE BARITE AND 51 PERCENT PURE WASTE. MATRIX 3 DEALS WITH THE COMBINED FLAGSTAFF MT-BRUCE CR ORES. 3.48 ROCK IS EQUAL TO A MIXTURE OF 54.2 PERCENT PURE BARITE AND 45.8 PERCENT PURE WASTE. NO REAL RESOURCE DATA IS AVAILABLE ON THE DEPOSITS. ALL PUBLISHED DATA IS HOPELESSLY OUT OF DATE(BASED ON THE ERRONEOUS ASSUMPTION THE DEPOSITS ARE REPLACEMENT DEPOSITS, NOT BEDDED DEPOSITS). C.E. MINERALS WOULD SUPPLY ONLY VERY GENERAL INFORMATION. THUS BENJAMIN HAD TO CALCULATE THE RESOURCES FROM GENERAL DEPOSIT DIMENSIONS. PLAN AND CROSS SECTION VIEWS OF THE DEPOSITS WERE CONSTRUCTED BASED ON A 1.5:1 STRIPPING RATION(YD:YD) SUPPLIED BY C.E. MINERALS. FROM THESE CROSS SECTIONS THE TONNAGES WERE CALCULATED. RESOURCE PROJECTIONS AT LARGER THAN 1.5:1 S.R., PROJECTED ALONG STRIKE, OR DOWN DIP FROM MEASURED RESOURCES WOULD BE NO BETTER THAN A WILD GUESS, SO THEY WERE NOT CALCULATED I AM CONFIDENT ABOUT THE FLAGSTAFF GRADE, BUT AM UNSURE ABOUT THE BRUCE CREEK GRADE. IT IS FROM 3.3 TO 3.5 S.G.
  • M1C3 IS THE FLAGSTAFF MT DEPOSIT. IT DIPS STEEPLY TO THE EAST AND WEST, IS 455 M LONG, 23-30M THICK IN ITS CENTER THINNING TO 3M THICK ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH ENDS. THE DOWN DIP DIMENSION OF THE ORE ZONE IS KNOWN ONLY TO C.E. MINERALS BUT IT PROBABLY DOES NOT EXCEED 91M. M2C3 IS THE BRUCE CREEK DEPOSIT. IT DIPS STEEPLY TO THE EAST AND WEST, IS 335M LONG, 46M THICK IN ITS CENTER, THINNING TO 23, THICK ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH ENDS. THE DOWN DIP DIMENSION OF THE ORE ZONE IS KNOWN ONLY TO C.E. MINERALS BUT IT PROBABLY DOES NOT EXCEED 91M. M3C3 AND M9C4 ARE A COMPOSITE OF THE FLAGSTAFF MT AND BRUCE CREEK DEPOSITS.
