Comments on the reserve resource information

  • THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UG MINING OPERATION ANALYZED IN OLD STUDY (IE. XEROLIVADO). IN UPDATE IT HAS BEEN DIFFERENTIATED FROM THE "SKOUMSTA (TYPE B)" ORE (SEQ.NO. 4840100007) WHICH IS LOWER GRADE ORE FROM 3 SEPARATE DEPOSITS (ANEXITIKA, KOUROUMIA , AND KERASITSA) LOCATED TO THE NORTH OF THE NEW MILL AT SKOUMSTA. FOR ANALYSIS: 216,000 MTPY ROM FOR : 67,230 MTPY CONCS.AT 48% CR2O3. ALL CONCS.TO TSINGELI SMELTER.
  • 1/89 INSITU DEMO.TONNAGE = UG MINEABLE TONNAGE TO 950 M LEVEL IN CENTRAL SECTOR (7 OREBODIES) AND FOR 60 M VERT.IN SW SECTOR.
  • Q-MATRIX 1 RESOURCE TONNAGE REPRESENTS A BEST GUESS FROM VAR REPORTED TONNAGES IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST SECTORS. SHOULD , MOST LIKELY, BE TREATED AS AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM RESOURCE, SINCE THE WOUTHWEST SECTOR WAS RELATIVELY UNKNOWN AT THE TIME, AND NO EVIDENCE OF PINCHING OUT IN THIS DIRECTION HAS BEEN INDICATED. THIS EVALUATION ONLY DEALS WITH THE XEROVADO DEPOSIT WHICH WILL BE MINED AT A RATE OF ABOUT 140,000 MT. OF ORE PER YEAR BY THE TIME THE NEW MILL IS BUILT (K2). INDICATION S ARE THE DESIGN CAPACITY OF THE NEW MILL WILL BE 720 MT. OF FEED PER DAY, ORE ABOUT 216,000 MT. OF ORE FEED PER YEAR. THIS XEROLIVADO WILL ONLY BE PROVIDING ABOUT 65% OF THE FEED TO THE MILL. IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE REMAINDER OF THE FEED WILL BE FROM DEPOSITS SUCH AS ANEXITIKA, AND RIZO, WHICH ARE RECENT DISCOVERIES IN THE SAME AREA, BUT EVEN OF A LOWER GRADE (12-15% CR2O3) THESE OTHER DEPOSITS HAVE NOT CONTRIBUTED TO THES AVAILABILI TY STUDY, DUE TO LACK OF DATA.
