  • ORE RESERVES ARE STATED, AS OF 1990, TO BE SUFFICIENT FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 10 YEARS, ACCORDING TO THE C.R.U. REPORT.
  • RESERVE TONNAGE & GRADE BASED ON REPORTED 900,000 MT CONTAINED COPPER AFTER REEVALUATION (1979). GRADE IS ASSUMED TO BE 0.5% CU BASED ON INDIVIDUAL OREBODY GRADES (CHUKAR- 0.7% CU, BUCIM CENTRAL- 0.37% CU, VRSNIK- 0.5% CU). GOLD AND SILVER GRADES CALCULATED FROM ESTIMATED PRODUCTION OF 0.5 TONNES AU AND 2.5 TONNES AG, 50% RECOVERY AND RATIO OF 0.5:0.7 CU ORE GRADE. IN 1979, THE TOTAL RESERVES WERE ESTIMATED AT 105 MILLION THE TOTAL RESERVES INCLUDE THE CUKAR DEPOSIT WHICH IS ESTIMATED AT 11 MILLION TONS AT.7 PERCENT COPPER; THE VRSNIK DEPOSIT, ESTIMATED AT 21 MILLION TONS AT .5 PERCENT COPPER; AND THE BUCIM DEPOSIT, ESTIMATED AT 73 MILLION TONS AT .38 PERCENT COPPER. IT IS NOT CLEAR WHICH ONE OR MORE OF THESE THREE DEPOSITS IS CURRENTLY BEING WORKED.
