  • THE INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT OUTPUTS ARE FOR A MODEL MILL THAT DOES NOT YET EXIST.
  • ALTHOUGH THE ROMANIAN GOVERNMENT HAS CONFIRMED THAT CHITUC DEPOSIT IS OPERATING, EXACT AMOUNTS OF PRODUCTION ARE NOT AVAILABLE. AS A MATTER OF FACT, THE MINISTRY OF MINES REFERS TO THESE OPERATIONS AS "AGGLOMERATIONS" RATHER THAN MINES. THE EXPLORATION PHASE WAS PROBABLY COMPLETED IN 1977.

Deposit THE CHITUC SANDBANKS WHICH CONTAIN THE MORE IMPORTANT CONCENTRATIONS OF TITANIFEROUS HEAVY MINERALS OCCUR IN A LARGE SAND DUNE AREA ALONG THE BEACH OF THE PRESENT COASTLINE. THE KAISER ENGINEERS HAVE MADE A HYPOTHETICAL MILL THAT COULD ACTUALLY HANDLE THE MINE OUTPUT. THIS MILL DOES NOT,AS YET EXIST. THEREFORE, THE FLOW OF CONCENTRATE ON THE K SHEET AND THE PRODUCT OUTPUTS ARE ALL KAISER ESTIMATIONS.
