Deposit THE GLORIA MINE IS ACCESSED BY A 170M CIRCULAR, TWO COMPARTMENT SHAFT AND A 1079M DECLINE TO A DEPTH OF 180M. THE DECLINE IS USED FOR TRANSPORTING PERSONNEL AND MATERIALS AND CONTAINS A CONVEYOR FOR ORE HAULAGE. THE ROOM AND PILLAR MINING HAS AN INITIAL RECOVERY OF ABOUT 70%, WHICH CAN BE INCREASED BY ROBBING THE PILLARS. THE ORE IS CRUSHED UNDERGROUND FOR HAULAGE TO THE SURFACE BY CONVEYOR. MILLING CONSISTS OF FINAL CRUSHING, WASHING, AND SCREENING. CAPACITY IS ESTIMATED AT ABOUT 600,000T/YR. THE INITIAL GRADE APPARENTLY IS NOT RAISED SIGNIFICANTLY BY WASHING. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT 15% OF FEED IS LOST AS FINES.
