THE COMPANY HAS SIGNED AN AGREEMENT IN PRINCIPLE TO ACQUIRE A MAJOR WORKING INTEREST IN THESE PROPERTIES. THESE PROPERTIES--THE BLACK EAGLE, THE BISMARK, AND THE COLUMBIA--ARE CONTIGUOUS PAST PRODUCERS NEAR THE STAR TUNNEL AND THE BLACK EAGLE MILL. (P&D 8/9/83)
