  • THE PRODUCTS PRODUCED BY THE OTVOZETGYAR SALGOTARJAN PLANT ARE AS FOLLOWS: FERROSILICON, FERROVANADIUM, FERROTUNGSTEN, FERROBORON, AND COMPLEX FERROALLOYS FOR DESULPHURISING PROCESSES. THE COMPANY ALSO DISTRIBUTES BULK FERROALLOYS PRODUCED IN THE USSR.

  • THE DESTINATION OF THE PRODUCTS FROM THE OTVOZETGYAR SALGOTARJAN FERROALLOY PLANT IS AS FOLLOWS: 31 PERCENT OF PRODUCTION, BY VALUE, MAINLY IN THE FORM OF FERROSILICON, WAS EXPORTED IN 1989. THE MAIN EXPORT MARKETS ARE AUSTRIA, ITALY, FRANCE, AND BELBIUM. FINLAND IS ALSO EMERGING AS AN EXPORT MARKET. THE REMAINDER OF THE PRODUCTION IS SOLD TO THE THREE LARGE HUNGARIAN STEEL MILLS AND TO SOME SMALLER DOMESTIC CONSUMERS.
  • THE CAPACITY OF THE OTVOZETGYAR SALGOTARJAN PLANT IS AT 12,000 TONS PER YEAR FERROSILICON, RANGING FROM FIFTEEN TO NINETY-SEVEN PERCENT FESI AND APPROXIMATELY 1,700 TONS PER YEAR OF OTHER ALLOYS.
