Comments on the reserve resource information

  • IN 1985 MINING OPER. SHUTDOWN IN PREPARATION FOR CONVERSION FROM SURFACE MINING TO UNDERGROUND MINING. INDICATIONS AS OF 1989 THAT CONVERSION MAY NOT HAVE BEEN MADE. 400,000 MTPY ROM AT 21.0 %CR2O3 FOR: 90,000 MTPY LUMP&GRAINS AT 35.0 %CR2O3 AND 90,000 MTPY CONCS. AT 41.5 %CR2O3. ALL PRODUCTS FOR USE AT POJUCA SMELTER.
  • M1C3 = M9C4. RESOURCE TONNAGES ARE ESTIMATES OF THE AMOUNT OF ORE THAT SHOULD BE MINABLE BY OPEN PIT METHODS TO VERTICAL DEPTHS OF 50 M. THE 13000000 TONS REPRESENT A COMBINATION OF TWO SEPARATE DEPOSITS- 4290 TONS IN THE CASCABULHOS TREND AND 8710 TONS IN THE PEDRINHAS TREND. QMATRIX 9 COLUMN 1: ADIT RESOURCES AS OF JAN 1989.
  • IN-SITU TONNAGE AS OF 1/89 = 15,292,000 MT AT 21.0 %CR2O3, ALL OF IT ANALYZED FOR UNDERGROUND EXTRACTION WITH 80 % RECOVERY.
