THE MINERALIZATION IS RELATED TO CHROMITE, BEARING ULTRAMAFICS WHICH HAVE INTRUDED PRECAMBRIAN IRON FORMATION. DUNITE FORMS THE HOST ROCK. FRIABLE CHROMITE OCCURS WITH NICKELIFEROUS LIMONITE OR WEATHERED SERPENTINITE.
