  • DEPOSIT IS IN THE DRYEST AREA OF TURKEY AND ALTHOUGH THE RAINFALL IS UNKNOWN, IT IS ASSUMED TO BE BELOW 25 CM/YR. THE TEMPERATURES SHOW MARKED DIURNAL FLUCTUATIONS AS WOULD BE EXPECTED IN THIS DRY, CONTINENTAL ENVIRONMENT. THE WINTERS ARE EXPECTED TO BE COLD AND DRY, THE SUMMERS HOT AND DRY.
