Comments on the production information

  • BECAUSE OF THE HIGH CR/FE RATIO, THE LUMP AND CHIP PRODUCTS ARE ASSIGNED AS MET. GRADE. THE CONC. COULD BE MARKETED AS: MET, CHEM, REFRACT. GRADES OR FOUNDRY SAND.
  • ACCORDING TO CERTAIN SOURCES, THE ZWEARTKOP OPERATIONS WERE CLOSED EARLY IN 1980 AND WERE ON A CARE AND MAINTENANCE BASIS PENDING IMPORVEMENT IN THE CHROMITE MARKET.
  • THE RECOVERIES IN THE Y-RECORD ARE FOR INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTS. THE TOTAL RECOVERY IS 89.51%.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • Q-MATRIX 1 IS FOR ORE DOWN TO 150 M VERT. COL 1 IS THE IN-SITU RESOURCE, WHILE COL 2 IS THE RECOVERABLE RESOURCE. Q-MATRIX 2 REPRESENTS ALL ORES DOWN TO 300 M VERT DEPTH. ONCE AGAIN COL 1 IS FOR IN-SITU AND COL 2 IS RECOVERABLE.
  • 1/89 INSITU DEMO. TONNAGE = TO 300 M VERT.DEPTH, 90 % RECOV. SEAM THICKNESS 0.86 M, DIP 23 DEGS.
