Comments on the reserve resource information

  • ANNUAL CONCENTRATE PRODUCTION IS 18000-20000 DRY MT AT 39% CU, 12% ZN, 2%PB,200 GMS AG/MT,.0017 % BI AND 1.5%CO. COPPER WAS STILL BEING RECOVERED FROM OXIDE HEAP LEACH OPERATION IN THE FORM OF CEMENT COPPER AS OF 3/94. CEMENT COPPER WAS BEING SHIPPED TO THE BURRA CUPRIC OXIDE PLANT. PRE-FEASIBILITY STUDY WAS COMPLETED IN 1990 FOR DEVELOPING THE MG14 SULPHIDE DEPOSIT BUT DO NOT KNOW IF THIS PROJECT WAS EVER DEVELOPED. THE PLAN WAS TO MINE BY OPEN PIT AND PRODUCE A SULPHIDE CONCENTRATE TO BE SHIPPED TO BURRA WHERE IT WOULD BE ROASTED THEN TREATED IN THE CUPRIC OXIDE PLANT. THE PLAN CALLED FOR A THREE YEAR MINING OPERATION.
