  • MONAZITE DEPOSIT TO START IN 1991. WILL SEND 1,500 MTPY MONAZITE IN CONCENTRATE TO HAMHUNG FOR PROCESSING INTO 400 MTPY OF INTER- MEDIATE OXIDES AND METALS.
  • CHELSAN IS LOCATED ON THE WEST COAST NEAR THE CHINESE BORDER. IT WILL BE SENDING 1,500 MTPY OF MONAZITE TO A $12 MILLION PROCESSING PLANT ON THE EAST COAST AT HAMHUNG, WHERE 400 MTPY OF RE METALS AND OXIDES WILL BE EXTRACTED AND SHIPPED TO JAPAN. RESOURCES ARE 500,000 MT MONAZITE.
