Comments on the reserve resource information

  • IN 1989, TONNAGE AND GRADE ESTIMATES WERE RECALCULATED USING THE ORIGINAL AUSTRALIAN ANGLO AMERICAN DRILLING RESULTS TO PRODUCE A COMPUTER BLOCK MODEL OF THE DEPOSIT. A SUBSEQUENT PRE-FEASIBILITY STUDY USING A PRELIMINARY MINING PLAN DEVELOPED BY POSEIDON, AND EMPLOYING AN ON SITE SMELTING OPTION WAS SUFFICIENTLY ENCOURAGING TO WARRENT FURTHER ASSESSMENT IN 1990-91.
