  • THE INTRUSIVE CARBONATITE COMPLEX IS ROUGHLY OVAL IN SHAPE AND OUTCROPS OVER AN AREA OF APPROXIMATELY 18 SQ KM. IT LIES AT THE CENTER OF A FORMER PYROXENITE-BIOTITE PLUG. LEACHING OF THE COMPLEX IN THE CENTER OF THE PLUG, CONTAINING SECONDARY APATITE, HAS PRODUCED A MASS BRECCIATED FERRO- IGNEOUS APATITE ROCK.
  • THE ORE CONSISTS MOSTLY OF APATITE AND FINELY-DIVIDED HEMATITE AND GEOTHITE.
