  • PROSPECT IS ABOUT 305 METERS NORTH OF THE MOUTH OF BALLEN- TYNE CREEK, ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE NORTH FORK BOISE RIVER. A 0.3 METER SAMPLE WAS TAKEN ACROSS QUARTZ VEIN AND CONTAIN- ED TRACE GOLD, 339 GRAM SILVER PER METRIC TON; 0.1 PERCENT COPPER, AND 0.2 PERCENT LEAD. A SELECTED SAMPLE FROM THE DUMP CONTAIN 301 GRAM SILVER PER METRIC TON: 0.2 PERCENT COPPER; 0.5 PERCENT LEAD. POSSIBLE TEST PITS FOR PLACERING ARE DIRECTLY BELOW THE PROSPECT AT RIVER LEVEL. A PANNED SAMPLE TAKEN NEAR THE MOUTH OF BALLENTYNE CREEK DID NOT CONTAIN ANOMALOUS AMOUNTS OF GOLD.
