Deposit SEVERAL THOUSAND TONS OF FELDSPAR HAS BEEN P FROM THIS MINE AND RESERVES AMOUNT TO TENS OF THOUSANDS OF FROM USGS PP 255 PG. 60.-OTHER COMMODS. LISTED COULD BE BYPR REC/050 COLS. 30-31 THE MINEROLOGY OF THE PEGMATITE WAS STUD 1923-24 BY LANDES (1925). AN ADDITIONAL COMMODITY THAT CAN BE RECOVERED AS A UCT OF FELDSPAR MINING IS COLUMBITE-TANTALITE. OTHER DONATES SHEETLIKE BODY. OTHER DONATES WALLROCK ALTER. AS "TOURMAL -ENRICHED IN MUSCOVITE. DIPS OF THE PEGMATITE FOLIATION IS VARIABLE IN QUARRY AR . AV. THICKNESS OF MINERALIZED ZONE IS UNDE . THE WIDTH VARIES FROM 25-30 FT. ALONG MOST O EXPOSED PART,BUT WIDENS TO NEARLY 400 FT. EAST OF QUARRY FAC RESERVES: A RESERVE OF 10-15000 TONS OF FELDSPAR SEEMS VIRTU ASSURED. LARABEE (WMR 1942) ESTIMATED THAT 16 TONS OF BERYL M REMOVED-POSSIBLY 50 FROM THE ENTIRE MASS-AND NOT TO EXCEED 1 FROM THE DUMPS. POSSIBLY 10 TONS OF COLUMBITE-TANTALITE AND SIMILAR QUANTITY OF CASSITERITE. POSSIBLY 500 TONS SCRAP MICA (THIS UNNAMED PEGMATITE IS VERTICAL IN THE US FORMATION. DATE OF COMMENTS 1975.
