SOME FLOW TOPS ARE FROGMINTAL AND SERVED AS MINERAL SOLUTION CHANNELS. 3 JAN 78 REC 060 FIELD 56-58. CONGLOMERATE IS A FELSITE PEBB LE TO COBBLE CONGLOMERATE WITH SANDY AND SILTY LENSES. THE MINED HORIZONS CONTINUE ALONG STRIKE TO THE BALTIC (TO THE NE) AND TO THE CHAMPION MINE (TO THE SW). REC 060,FIELD 14-36. P.L.L.S.=PORTAGE LAKE LAVA SERIES.
  • 3 JAN 78 THE WIDTH OF THE MINERALIZED ZONE IS ESTIMATED BASED ON KNOWLEDGE OF OTHER MINES ON THE LODE. NO ACTUAL FIGURES ARE AVAILABLE. REC 080 FIELD 40-44. AT THIS LOCATION, THE BALTIC LODE IS COMPLETELY COVERED BY GLACIAL DRIFT. THE SURFACE OBSERVATION MENTIONED IN REC 050 COL 17. WAS MADE EITHER TO THE SOUTHWEST OR NORTHEAST ALONG THE STRIKE OF THE LODE, AT OUTCROPS. THE COPPER SULFIDES MINED AT THE TRIMOUNTAIN WERE CHALCOCITE AND BORNITE, BOTH OF WHICH WERE MINED ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY FROM FISSURES.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • GRADE- PARDEE PEPORTS A RECOVERAVLE RESERVE OF 705,600 LBS.CU. FOR 1930(JAN). OF THIS 542,649 LBS. WERE RE COVERED IN 1931 FROM 14,350 TONS OF ORE. I.E., 37.8 LBS/TON. ASSUMING THIS IS THE AVERAGE GRADE THEN THE REMAINING TONNAG E IS 705,600-542.649/37.8=4309.1 TONS OR 3909.2 TONNES. THIS VALUE IS INTERED AT 90%.
