| Deposit | 1975 - THE ELECTRO METALLURGICAL CO ACQUIRED MINERAL RIGHTS PROPERTY DURING WWI WORKED ONE PIT BRIEFLY BUT APPARENTLY DI PRODUCE ANY ORE. THE CURRENT OWNER OPERATOR NAMES ARE UNKNOWN. KNOPF 1922 PG 98 INDICATED THAT DISSEMINATED CHROMITE AT THE WAS FAIR TO GOOD GRADE. THERE ARE NO ANALYSES OF THE ORE GIVEN OR A CR FE RATIO IN G AL. HOWEVER THE PA & MD ORES ARE TOO RICH IN IRON TO MEET METALLURICAL STANDARDS, BUT COULD BE USED FOR CHEMICAL PURPOSES |
