| Deposit | THE FEED FOR THE SMELTER IS SUPPLIED BY THE FOLLOWING BOLI- DEN MINES (PLUS OTHER SMALL, MAINLY PYRITIC COPPER MINES): AITIK (GOV. OWNED), LAISVALL, LANGSELE, UDDEN, AND STEKEN- JOKK. ADDRESS OF MAIN OFFICE: S-932 00 SKELLEFTEHAMM, SWEDEN FACILITIES AT RONNSKAR SMELTER INCLUDE A CONCENTRATE ROASTER AND DRYER, ELECTRIC AND DALDO SMELTING FURNACES, PIERCE- SMITH CONVERTERS, ANODE FURNACES AND ANODE CASTING FACILITIES. CAPACITY OF THE SMELTER IS 105,000 MTPA ANODE COPPER. COPPER AND LEAD ARE THE PRIMARY PRODUCTS, AND BY INCLUDE LIQUID SO2, SULFURIC ACID, GOLD, SILVER, SELENIUM, NICKEL SULFATE, PLATINUM SLIMES, AND ARSENIC TRIOXIDE. BOTH SINGLE AND DOUBLE ACID PLANTS EXIST AT THE SMELTER. |
