  • CNT PLANS PRODUCTION OF 5,000 MT/YEAR NICKEL METAL FROM A TOTAL OF 7,000 MT OF CONTAINED NICKEL. THE REMAINING NICKEL IS TO BE SOLD AS CARBONATE TO SHERRITT GORDON. CNT HAS ALSO PLANNED A COBALT UPGRADE CIRCUIT TO PRODUCE 200 MT/YEAR CONTAINED COBALT. TOCANTINS UTILIZES OIL, ELECTRICITY, AND COAL IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE COST EFFECTIVENESS.
  • PRODUCT A,B REPRESENT NI, CO METAL, RESPECTIVELY, WHICH ARE 20 TONNES/DY = 7000 TONNES/YR, AND .6 TONNES/DY = 210 TONNES/YR.

  • REFINERY RECEIVES MATERIAL FROM AMMONIA LEACH PLANT. COBALT AND **** PERHAPS COPPER ARE ALSO RECOVERED.
