| Environmental Factors | ONE DISCHARGING ADIT WAS IDENTIFIED AT THE SITE DURING THE INVESTIGATION. NO MAXIMUM CONTAMINANT LEVELS WERE EXCEEDED IN THE ADIT DISCHARGE. THIS DISCHARGE EVENTUALLY FLOWED INTO INDIAN CREEK. INDIAN CREEK WAS FLOWING SOUTH OF THE SITE DURING THE INVESTIGATION; HOWEVER, SURFACE WATER SAMPLES WERE NOT COLLECTED DUE TO EXTREMELY HIGH FLOW AND LIKELY EXCESSIVE DILUTION. INDIAN CREEK SEDIMENT SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM FROM THE SITE; METALS CONCENTRATIONS WERE NOT SIGNIFICANTLY ELEVATED IN THE DOWNSTREAM SAMPLE. ONE POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS OPEN ADIT WAS IDENTIFIED AT THE SITE. |
