  • 1/89 INSITU DEMO.TONNAGE = SEAM 2 ONLY TO 300 M ON-DIP. 85 % RECOVERY.
  • 50% PROB.LEVEL ESTIMATE IS FOR TONNAGE CONTAINED IN 2 SEAMS (NOS. 1&2) OUTCROPPING ON THE SECTION ASSUMING DOWN-DIP EXTENSIONS OF 300 METERS. ESTIMATED THICKNESSES OF THE TWO SEAMS ARE .20 AND .27 METERS RESPECTIVELY. ESTIMATED STRIKE LENGTHS FOR BOTH SEAMS ARE 3,500 METERS. 50 PERCENT PROBABILITY LEVEL ESTIMATE ASSUMES DIP EXTENSIVE OF 1,500 METERS FOR SEAMS 1 AND 2 AND 2000 METERS FOR SEAMS 3,5,6,7,8,9,10 AND 11, WHICH OCCUR AT DEPTH, BUT DO NOT OUTCROP.

Deposit THIS ANALYSIS TREATS A SINGLE SECTION OF THE GREAT DYKE-THE "UMSWESWE SECTION" - AS ONE MINING UNIT. IN REALITY MORE THAN ONE COMPANY MAY HOLD LEASES OVER THE SECTION DESCRIBED AND MORE THAN ONE COMPANY COULD BE PRODUCING SIMULTANEOUSLY. FROM THE SECTION. TO ANALYZE THE GREAT DYKE FOR AVAILABILITY IT WAS NECESSARY TO ADDRESS THE SITUATION IN A LOGICAL, COMPARTMENTALIZED FORMAT. HENCE, THE "UMSWESWE SECTION" REFERS TO A 3.5KM SECTION FROM THE UMSWESWE RIVER NORTHWARDS COVERING THE EASTLIMB OF THE GREAT DYKE SYNGLINAL STRUCTURE.
