| Deposit | PLANT IS LOCATED ON APPROXIMATELY 200 ACRES. *PLANT IS SERVED BY A SPUR OF THE CSXT RR. *PLANT NO LONGER USES THE DOCKS ON THE DELAWARE RIVER. *TARIFFS ON TIO2 PIGMENT ARE 0-5% IMPORT VALUE AND PROVIDED LITTLE FINICIAL BUFFER. *DU PONT BUILT THE FIRST FULL-SCALE CHLORIDE PLANT ON THIS SITE IN 1956. IT JOINED A SULFATE PLANT THAT WAS BUILT IN 1935. THE SULFATE PLANT WAS SHUT DOWN IN 1973. THE ORIGINAL CHLORIDE PROCESS LINE WAS SHUT DOWN IN 1980 AFTER THE NEW PROCESS LINES HAD BEEN INSTALLED. |
