SOURCE USED FOR EVALUATION IS HAGNI, RICHARD, ET AL, COLLECTION, AND EVALUATION, AND CLASSIFICATION OF MINERAL RESOURCES INFORMATION ON BARITE, LEAD, AND ZINC IN MISSOURI FOR THE BUREAU OF MINES AUTOMATED MINERALS AVAILABILITY SYSTEM, FINAL REPORT, GRANT AGREEMENT GO 26- 4016 SEPT. 1987 UPDATE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS ARE RELATED TO THE SEPT. 1987 DEPOSIT DATA UPDATE MADE BY IFOC: THE MINE AND THE WASH PLANT WERE REOPENED AT THE END OF 1984. FOR PRODUCTION INFORMATION SEE HISTORY DATA SET. THE MATRIX 1 RESOURCES HAVE DECREASED ONLY BY 723,520 MTONS. SEE MATRIX 3, WHICH GIVES THE UPDATED MATRIX 1 TONNAGE. MATRIX 2 IN THE 1983 MAS EVALUATION REMAINS UNCHANGED. INFORMATION FOR THIS UPDATE COME FROM DESOTO MINING CO. THE INFORMATION WAS SUPPLIED TO THE EVALUATOR SEPT., 1987.
