| Environmental Factors | ORE DERIVED FROM THIS MINE WAS MILLED AT THE BIG OX MILL, WHICH WAS INVESTIGATED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THIS SITE. NO DISCHARGING ADITS, FILLED SHAFTS, SEEPS, OR SPRINGS WERE IDENTIFIED AT THE SITE DURING THE INVESTIGATION. NO SURFACE WATER WAS OBSERVED ON OR NEAR THE SITE. THE NEAREST SURFACE WATER WAS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 1,500 FEET AWAY; CONSEQUENTLY, NO SURFACE WATER OR SEDIMENT SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED. ONE POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS PARTIALLY OPEN ADIT WAS IDENTIFIED AT THE SITE. |
