Deposit THIS MINE WAS WORKED FOR MANY YEARS IN EARLY TIMES, AND WAS WORKED BETWEEN 1877 AND 1880. ELVERSON ORE AND STONE CO. REO THE MINE IN 1911, AND PRODUCED ABOUT 1000 TONS PER MONTH. TH WAS CLOSED IN 1914, AND IN 1917 IT WAS TERMED EXHAUSTED. THE HAD A SHAFT 75 FT. DEEP, AND AN OPEN PIT. THE MAGNETIC ORE B AN AVERAGE THICKNESS OF 30 FT.
